About Us

PrincetonKIDS, LLC is a media corporation dedicated to providing useful information for greater Princeton area families, to keep parents in the know and kids on the go!

PrincetonKIDS was founded by two moms and close friends, Noriko Svenson and Sylmarie Sasso Trowbridge, who met during business school at the University of Virginia. A few years later, they both coincidentally relocated to Princeton with their families.

Through their experiences of settling in Princeton, Noriko and Syl felt the greater community could benefit from a website dedicated to families. When you are either new to the area or a new mom, tasks such as finding a school, gym with day care or simply a popular playground takes time. As they discovered Princeton, they were eager to share their findings with other parents through the PrincetonKIDS website.

In 2008, Noriko and Syl transfered ownership of PrincetonKIDS, LLC to me, Jennifer Mermans, a Princeton mother of two. It is my privilege to continue the tradition of providing useful, family friendly information to the community.

As a mother, I understand the desire to enrich your children’s daily lives with fun, educational activities and the reality of not always having the free time to constantly research a variety of sources. Thus I have expanded the PrincetonKIDS concept one step further. We are pleased to introduce PrincetonTOTS, a website geared exclusively toward children ages 0 -3 ideal for new parents. In addition, we are pleased to provide our On the go! Guide, annual publications designed to place the most popular sections of our websites at your fingertips. By providing resourceful websites, publications and convenient weekly emails detailing the events in the area, I hope to become your one-stop-shop for “all things kids” in the greater Princeton area.

Together with my team and family, we hope to keep you “in the know and kids on the go!”
