Making it move is the name of the game at this exciting camp! Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls. Each day, students will use fascinating and challenging LEGO® components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. Students will also learn how to magnify, diminish and redirect force to move objects at different speeds and in different directions. This camp is loads of fun and learning for budding builders.

Bricks 4 Kidz® – “Amusement Park ”

Get your ticket to ride at Bricks 4 Kidz® very own Amusement Park! Students will build a new ride each day, learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock. Then they will take what they have learned to design their own thrills and challenges. Motorized models maximize the action and the fun. Each workshop day includes carnival- themed games, group challenges, model building and more.

Bricks 4 Kidz® – “Space Adventures”

Inspired by NASA and Star Wars™, our Space Adventures workshop is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Each day, campers will learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to the NASA space program. In addition, the day includes LEGO® Star Wars™ themed models, video games, group games, challenges and more. Bricks 4 Kidz® Space Adventure workshop provides the spark for imagination and creativity to take off on an adventure that’s out of this world!

Bricks 4 Kidz® – “Animal Grossology”

If you’re fascinated by the weird but true, wild and wacky, gross and yucky, then this is the camp for you! Spend the week discovering the zany biology of our animal friends. Each day we’ll explore fascinating facts about the animal kingdom, focusing on a “creature of the day”. Build a different animal model each day and fill your very own “Animal Grossology” booklet with crazy and cool facts you learn, complete with a picture of each model, to become a certified Bricks 4 Kidz® Grossologist.

Bricks 4 Kidz® – “Extreme Expedition ”
Week 5 July 29 – August 2nd, 2013 Time: 9:00-12:00pm and/or 1:00-4:00pm

Form a team to face the challenge of our extreme expedition workshop. Search the globe for bricks and other resources needed to construct a base in the Himalayan Mountains and complete your expedition. Encounter Worst Case Scenario survival challenges, face forces of nature, and construct transportation equipment to bring your team together from around the globe. Activities: Discover the exciting world of circus arts at our 2 week Circus Place Camp. In our NEW 2,400 square foot facility, your child will be introduced to all the wonder circus has to offer. Activities: Gymland’s Summer Camp is designed to provide youngsters (ages 3-16) with an opportunity to learn gymnastics along with other fun and challenging activities. Trampolines and mini- trampolines, tumbling skills on tumble traks, air traks and rod floor, deep foam pits, women’ s and men’s Olympic gymnastic events, obstacle courses, arts and crafts, relay races, indoor games, climbing on ropes, stall bars and rock wall and inflatables are all part of a summer full of fun activities.

We are the largest gymnastics facility in New Jersey and we use the finest gymnastic equipment. Our high quality instructors build confidence through gymnastics fitness, taught in a safe, structured, professional and fun environment.

A typical , daily camp schedule will consist of two 3 hour sessions, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, with a half hour lunch break. Our Mini Camp program for preschool age children between 3 and 5 yrs is offered between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon.

Early drop off and late pick up are offered for the convenience of working parents at the additional charge of $7/ hour. Early drop- off is available from 8:00 to 9:00 am and late pickup is available from 3:30-5:30 pm.

Activities: Welcome to MACHANEYNU (Our Camp) 2013 and Mini Camp! We begin our summer programs on June 10 and continue through August 9. Each week we offer a different theme filled with arts and crafts, sports and gym, playground and water play time. Our camp is under the direction of our school director and reliable counselors.

MACHANEYNU MINI CAMP
We will hold two weeks of Mini Camp prior to the start of our regular camp season. Available is a one or two week option of three or five days per week. Space is limited to students three to five years of age. All Mini Camp campers SHOULD BE POTTY TRAINED. The daily activities will be based around a weekly theme and will include a circle and story time, arts and crafts, music, physical activity and playground time.
Mini Camp hours are from 9:00am – 12:30pm including lunchtime (12:00-12:30). You will need to provide your child with a kosher dairy lunch. We will provide a daily morning snack for all children.

MACHANEYNU (OUR CAMP)
MACHANEYNU is a 7-week theme-based program that runs from the end of June through mid-August and is open to children from ages 2 to 6 years old. Our Camp provides a 3 or 5 day weekly option and you can register for any combination of the 7 weeks throughout the summer.

The focus of MACHANEYNU is fun. Camp themes for 2013 are Week of June 24 – Reptiles and Amphibians, Week of July 1 – Honoring Our Service Men and Women CAMP is CLOSED THURSDAY, JULY 4, Week of July 8 – Desert Oasis, Week of July 15 – Let’s Get Cooking, Week of July 22 – The Great Outdoors, Week of July 29 – Messy Olympics, Week of August 5- Treasure Hunt. Children participate in sports, gym, art, music, dance, story time, playground, water activities and so much more. Specialty dress-up days are always a favorite with the children, as are visits from the ice cream truck and special programs. With use of the grounds of The Jewish Center campus as well as the Social Hall, children are guaranteed the chance to run around and play, regardless of weather. Shabbat is celebrated weekly with challah and song. Our camp is under the direction of our School Director.

July 15 – 19 Superheroes!
Look up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No – it’s your Superhero child flying, dashing & speeding around The Little Gym “saving the day” with their super powers! The kids will have fun pretending to be their favorite superhero during this Marvel-ous week of camp! We’ll even have some visits throughout the week by our REAL-LIFE superheroes – police officers, firefighters and paramedics!

July 22 – 26 Legends, Fables and Folklore
Wonder & fascination will be brought to life during Legends, Fables & Folklore! Has your child ever pretended to be a Unicorn, Dragon or Mermaid? Do they love the stories of “Robin Hood” or “Cinderella”? The kids will get to bring these & other characters and stories to life this week – and get some great exercise at the same time!

July 29 – August 2 Lights, Camera, Action!
Who knows how many of our TLG campers of today just might be the Movie Stars or Broadway actors of tomorrow? What we DO know is that each child will have many fun-filled creative movement, role-playing and even acting experiences this week! By the end of the week we just might even have a “World Premier Movie” – starring all of
our campers – to show the parents!

August 5 – 9 Secret Agent: Gyms Bond!
“My name is ‘Bond’, ‘Gyms Bond’! You get the point! Our campers will have an adventure-packed week pretending to
be “secret agents.” Each day includes fun, creative activities & games including “secret hiding places”, “searching for clues to solve a mystery, and fun “catch me if you can” challenges.

August 12 – 16 Hip-Hop Chop Karate!
This week will be an incredible action-packed combination of karate & hip-hop dance skills! Whether your child is already a “dancer in the making”, an aspiring “ninja” – or just a curious little “mover”, this camp will be an energetic, rhythmic adventure like no other!

August 19 – 23 My Animal Planet
Is your child fascinated by animals? Do they pretend to be their favorite animal on a daily basis?! If so, this is the perfect camp for them! We will explore “animals” through creative movement, music & games. Each day of camp will focus on animals found in different parts of the world! We might have some “animal visitors” come to the gym throughout the week.

August 26 – 30 From Islands to Icebergs
Have you ever been to the North Pole? How about to the tropical islands of the south pacific? Your kids will pretend to frolic and play in both of these incredible destinations in the same day – everyday of camp! From polar bears, penguins and snow caves to luaus, coconut trees and volcanos; the kids will have a blast participating in exciting adventures in these two earthly extremes!

September 4 & 6 Sky Rangers!
“Please fasten your seatbelts and know that your Imagination may be used as a floatation device!” The children’s imaginations will truly SOAR this week as they pretend to fly in helicopters, zeppelins, flying saucers, jetpacks – and more! “How will they do this?” – you may ask! Leave that to us!

COOL CRITTERS OF PLAINSBORO PRESERVE
July 8 – July 12: Meet some of our live animals inside the Nature Center and then head out onto the Preserve to search for local wildlife. We will learn how to use field guides, collecting nets, and set up our trail camera in our quest to discover animal life around us. Campers will encounter insects, birds, and mammals during this week dedicated to the animal kingdom.

SPY KIDS
July 15 – July 19: Campers will develop a connection to the natural world by expanding their powers of observation. We will send secret messages, use binoculars to scearch for hidden dangers, and go where no camper has gone before. Each day will bring a new outdoor adventure while connecting with nature.

FLAVORS OF NATURE
July 22 – July 26: Every day will bring a new adventure while using our five senses! We will be sampling some of nature’s foods as well as baking recipes using ingredients found on our preserve. We will also be listening and learning from the sounds of the forest, and doing some fun experiments involving our sense of sight, touch, and smell.

LEGENDARY EXPLORATIONS
July 29 – August 2: Campers will discover legends, debunk myths, and hear stories from various cultures as we explore the wild wisdom of past and present. We will use new knowledge as a jumping-off point for activities, crafts, and nature exploration during this week that can only be described as “legendary”.

COLD-BLOODED CREATURES
August 5 – August 9: Join us and learn about creepy crawly cold-blooded creatures during this week of camp. Campers will have the opportunity to meet snakes, turtles, salamanders, frogs, and insects in their natural habitats. Encounters with live animals are accompanied by associated learning activities.

WONDERFUL WILDLIFE
August 12 – August 16: Wild animals have always captured our imagination. During this action-packed week we will catch a few critters of our own in our quest to learn about local wildlife. Which animal is the fastest, biggest, or strongest? Learn all about the coolest animals in the animal kingdom.

EARTHKEEPERS
August 19 – August 23: Native Americans understand the importance of plants, animals, and how we relate to nature. During this week, we will taste Native American foods, learn about their animal friends, and learn how we can become more connected with nature by doing our part to protect it.

WILD DISCOVERIES
August 26 – August 30: Discover nature in the strangest places! Look under logs, splash in a stream, and search through fields during this week of nature investigation. Campers will see the natural world from different perspectives as they scan the tree tops and examine the stones beneath their feet.

ANIMAL ADVENTURERS
July 1, 2, 3 & 5 (NO camp July 4): Special Price $230 Campers will learn about reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and insects in one animal-packed week of camp. We will investigate different live animals in our nature center before exploring wild habitats on the nature preserve. Look at nesting birds, discover the world of insects, and photograph wild animals with our trail camera.

SURVIVAL I
July 8 – July 12: Learn survival skills by putting them into practice. This week will introduce basic survival skills through hands-on experiences. Campers will build shelters, learn basic way-finding skills, gather food and water, and cook on a fire during this week of adventure. This is our core survival course.

WOODLAND GAMES
July 15 – July 19: Scavenger hunts, Frisbee golf, Stream Catcher, Capture the Flag, and Animal Charades are just some of the planned activities during this fun-filled week. Campers will have an opportunity to learn by playing outdoor games!

SURVIVAL II
July 22 – July 26: Campers will learn to track wild animals and the secrets of becoming invisible in the woods. We will learn about traditional Native American tools including bows, arrows, and stone tools. We will revisit essential skills from Survival I such as fire and water but may utilize different techniques. Survival I is not a prerequisite.

SEARCH AND RESCUE
July 29 – August 2:Learn essential skills that will help you survive if you were to become lost in the woods. Search and rescue techniques will be introduced as campers attempt to find and then “rescue” a lost hiker. Campers will participate in a variety of fun activities that will teach way-finding, search methods, and core survival techniques.

PRESERVE EXPLORERS
August 5 – August 9: This week offers campers an opportunity to explore the less visited areas of Plainsboro Preserve. With over 600 acres to investigate, campers will enjoy hiking to the beaver lodge and Maggie’s Point, search for woodland animals, and get to know a few plants and trees.

NATIVE AMERICAN LIFE-SKILLS
August 12 – August 16: Native Americans didn’t survive.they thrived. Native Americans were part of the environment and knew nature’s secrets. Who left that track? What tree makes the best bows? Where can I find food or water? This course combines the skills of a naturalist with the knowledge of a Native American.

N.S.I. (NATURE SCENE INVESTIGATORS)
August 19 – August 23: Who left that track in the mud? Who made that nest? Who lives in that burrow? Campers will investigate clues in nature during this week of exploration and sleuthing. Come be a Nature Scene Investigator!

PREDATOR & PREY
August 26 – August 30: This week campers will learn about the relationship between predator and prey! Explore animal survival strategies like sneaking, stalking, and camouflage while searching for predators and their prey throughout the preserve. We will meet and care for some of the animals that live inside the Nature Center during this week of camp.

Activities:On the Court X-perience combines real world basketball activities,
competitions and skill building sessions with professional coaches in all our clinics and camps. Our mission is to provide positive educational and fun basketball activities. All of our programs are designed to inspire young players to get out of the stands and onto the court. During the school year we have clinics and during the summer months there are camps.

We believe athletics is the vehicle, providing children with an opportunity to grow and create new possibilities in their lives. Our programs build self confidence, improve self image and build character through education. They will develop sportsmanship and athletic integrity, and gain an understanding of the game of basketball. We provide a firm foundation in which children develop strong civic values.

Along with our popular On the Court X-perience basketball camps, for the first time this summer, OTC will be offering a full day multi-sport camp and a Preschool camp.

Our new full day sports camp includes basketball and more. It’s called Basketball Fitness Fun and includes basketball mixed with other popular sports and games.

Our new preschool program called, Preschool Fitness Fun, is based on our popular preschool enrichment program. It makes a great first experience in basketball.

On The Court Basketball X-perience (Grade 1st to 6th )
This is our popular weekly summer basketball program for boys and girls of any level is offered in morning and afternoon sessions. We combine real world basketball activities, fun competitions and skill building sessions with professional coaching. Campers will get a firsthand experience of real basketball, beginning with the fundamentals and moving to higher levels based on each camper’s individual skill and experience level.

Basketball Fitness Fun *NEW* (Grade 1st to 6th )
This New full day, weekly Camp includes basketball mixed with other popular sports and games. Each day begins with basketball skill building drills and fun basketball competitions or scrimmage. To keep the campers engaged and active for the entire day, they will play a mix of other sports and games between basketball activities. Camps will include games such as soccer, team handball, kickball, capture the flag and ga-ga.

Preschool Fitness Fun *NEW* (Ages 3 ½ to 6)
We are now offering a one week preschool Fitness Fun Basketball program for ages 3 ½ to 6 years. Sessions are 1 hour 30 minutes each day. This program promotes health, fitness and early character development using one of the
world’s favorite games, basketball! Our fun approach ensures your child a good time while developing athletic skills and self-confidence. Fitness Fun is age and skill level appropriate. Kids that participate in On The Court basketball programs get maximum time with the ball and learn the basics of what they can do with it.

Activities: Join us as we provide a creative, outdoor summer experience for your child. PONS Summer Camp is a great way for children to spend their summer weeks. Current friendships continue to grow and new friendships develop.

Campers will enjoy a variety of fun and enriching activities including: nature walks in the “magical woods,” gardening, woodworking, water play, songs and stories under the trees. If weather dictates, we will move indoors for creative activities such as baking, painting, sewing, yoga and free play. A healthy morning snack will be provided daily and children enjoy a lunch brought from home.

Six weekly sessions (July 8 – August 16, 2013) are available Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm. Children may enroll for all six weeks, or in any combination of the six weeks. Current students of Painted Oak Nursery School receive priority enrollment, but the program is open to all children ages 2 1/2- 6yrs. Children must be fully potty trained.

Space is limited, so please enroll early.

Camp fees are $250 per week or $1,350 for ALL 6 weeks. Payment must be received to hold your child’s place.

SummerQuest, at Princeton Montessori School, offers a variety of age-appropriate fun summer activities for children ages 18 months thru 5th grade. No equipment needed. Sticks will be provided! This summer Rylor Lacrosse Camp is excited to offer Little Laxers. This program is designed to give kids their first exposure to the sport of Lacrosse. The Little Laxer program does not require any equipment. The program will use soft flexible rubber Lacrosse sticks and soft plastic balls. We will use a variety of fun games to introduce kids to the sport of Lacrosse.

Children may attend our Summer Camp Program in three ways: You can enroll your child for Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday or all five days!

Our instructors are fluent in their native tongue and very excited to share their cultural knowledge and love for their language with your child. Salta takes teaching Spanish very seriously and the teachers work hard to ensure that your child thrives, feels safe and cared for meanwhile having a wonderful time.

Week 1: Getting to know you…Kick off the summer right by getting to know your friends in class, creating your classroom family portraits, participating in team building games and ending the week with an ice-cream social.

Week 2: Stars and Stripes forever…Let’s celebrate Independence Day with fun foods, flag making projects, rockets in flight, friendly competition and balloon popping contests. We are so patriotic!!

Week 3: Sports and Olympics…We will embrace the Olympic Games representing all the Latin American countries. Let’s make flags, learn about their cultures, learn about the games, participate in the Olympic Games and finish off the week with our Olympic ceremony.

Week 4: Watch the garden grow…Inquisitive minds will learn the science behind what makes a garden grow. Children will become little cultivators of all kinds of flowers while beautifying our school. We will share our appreciation for our friends and family with our traditions “Flowers for friends” program.

Week 5: Garden friends…Let’s meet all the animals and creepy crawlers that love to be around our gardens. We will learn about how they help the gardens grow.

Week 6: Garden treats…We will learn about all the wonderful and colorful vegetables you can find in a garden, how it helps our bodies grow, the science in the food and how great they all taste with our group salad!

Week 7: In the barnyard…We love all of our barnyard animals and how they help us get food, clothing, and even our grains. Let’s dress up as farmers and have a barnyard picnic.

Week 8: In the orchard…
Summer fruits are such a delight. We will make lemonade, strawberry Jell-O, fruit smoothies and turn our school into an orchard. Summer is a very fun time to love fruits.

Week 9: End of Summer events…We will celebrate our time together with team building games, making maracas and piñatas, playing music and dancing with our D.J and enjoying our ice-cream party.

General Information: Summer camp begins on June 24th and ends on August 23rd. The hours of the summer camp are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Mondays through Friday. We also offer before care from 7:30am – 9:00am and after care from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.

Activities: Join us for our 5th year of summer science fun. Our camps are designed to introduce children to scientific concepts and enquiry through hands-on projects and activities. At scienceSeeds, our activities dispel the myth that science is difficult and inaccessible, demonstrate to parents and kids that science is a part of their everyday experience and engage parents and their children in an ongoing process of exploration and discovery. From Harry Potter science to learning about the environment, from discovering chemistry and exploring physics join us for one or more weeks of science fun!
Our camps are small in size with a high staff to student ratio. Our staff is comprised of scientists and aspiring scientists.
Daily activities are based around a weekly theme.

Activities: Since our beginnings, the Princeton Family YMCA has been committed to the healthy development of children through a broad range of programs that capture their imaginations, instill positive values, build self-esteem and teach fundamental skills. Y Day Camp will teach children to learn lessons that will serve them throughout their lives. At YMCA Day Camp, your child will gain skills, try new things and grow in confidence and self-assurance, while practicing the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility as part of daily camp life. Discovery Camp
YMCA Discovery Camps are the heart and soul of the Princeton Family YMCA Day Camp program. With a focus on values-based and traditional camp activities, children of all ages will enjoy the benefits of a quality day camp experience. Campers have opportunities to explore their world through free play, nature activities, sports, games, arts and crafts, plus age appropriate special events. Campers also gain self-confidence in the water with daily swim instruction by our qualified swimming staff. Discovery Camp is about making friends, growing in confidence and working together.

MVP Camp
MVP Camp is the ideal program for the young athlete who can’t get enough of sports and loves the spirit of competition. At MVP Camp, campers will receive quality instruction and guidance in sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, football, floor hockey and special YMCA group games. Coaches not only challenge campers, but give them the one-on-one attention they need to grow and learn each sport. Campers divide into groups based on age. Younger campers focus on having fun while learning sports fundamentals and the importance of teamwork. Older campers focus on expanding their knowledge and athletic abilities. Daily scrimmages help further develop skills through competitive play. Campers also gain self-confidence in the water with daily swim instruction by our qualified swimming staff. At the Y, we use sports to teach lifelong skills and values.

Leadership Academy
YMCA Leadership Academy provides a stepping stone for teens to become confident and competent adults with a sense of belonging in their community. This summer program, for teens ages 13-15, includes a leadership curriculum, workshops, and field trips. The Y creates a powerful sense of relevance for your teen, while providing the skills and confidence necessary to find success in school and in life. The program builds motivation and confidence for their future personal success. As a comprehensive program, we provide your teen with opportunities for leadership training, personal growth, service to others, and social development. This two-week session allows young people to work closely with an advisor on skill and character building activities, planning and organizing camp projects plus exploring community service options. By giving our teens positive role models, we will strive to promote and enhance their personal growth in order to develop leaders who will become a positive force within their communities.

Specialty Camps
YMCA Specialty Camps focus on one topic, program, or sport for the entire week. In most cases, Specialty Camps will travel on a field trip each week. Campers do swim daily. This summer, let your child discover something special! Camps include, Camp Chefs, Kamping Kids, Super Science, Critter U, Multi-Sport and Hometown Heros.
