Highlights: Opened in 1932, The War Memorial was built as great community center dedicated to the memory of the soldiers and sailors from Mercer County who died fighting World War I. The building is a National and State Historic Site. The grand auditorium of the War Memorial, known as Patriots Theater, has been a stage for world-class artists and entertainers, including American Ballet Theater, Louis Armstrong, Bill Cosby, B.B. King, Bruce Springsteen and many children’s performances.

Parking: There are several parking decks within walking distance of the theater. One is the Rockoff Hall deck on the corner of New St. and George St., another is the Bloustein School deck on Kirckpatrick St. accessible via New St., and a third is the New Street deck on the corner of New St. and Joyce Kilmer Ave. Metered street parking is also available on Livngston Ave. and New St. on a first come first serve basis.
